Smoked Salmon Puff Pastry
PREP TIME: 10 MIN
COOK TIME: 15-20 MIN
TOTAL TIME: 35 MIN
Buttery, flaky puff pastry topped with cream cheese, smoked salmon, and a squeeze of lemon, simple, fresh, and a total showstopper. Perfect for breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed (I love Schär or Dufour)
4 oz cream cheese (Ideally buy Whipped)
4–6 oz salmon
1–2 tbsp everything bagel seasoning
1–2 tbsp butter, melted (for brushing)
1 lemon, sliced or juiced
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the puff pastry and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly score a border around the edges (about ½ inch) to create a crust.
Brush the edges with melted butter and sprinkle everything bagel seasoning over the entire surface.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden and puffed. Let cool slightly.
Spread the cream cheese evenly over the baked pastry.
Layer the smoked salmon on top, followed by a squeeze of fresh lemon.
Slice into squares and serve immediately.
Enjoy!
