Smoked Salmon Puff Pastry

PREP TIME: 10 MIN
COOK TIME: 15-20 MIN
TOTAL TIME: 35 MIN

Buttery, flaky puff pastry topped with cream cheese, smoked salmon, and a squeeze of lemon, simple, fresh, and a total showstopper. Perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed (I love Schär or Dufour)

  • 4 oz cream cheese (Ideally buy Whipped)

  • 4–6 oz salmon

  • 1–2 tbsp everything bagel seasoning

  • 1–2 tbsp butter, melted (for brushing)

  • 1 lemon, sliced or juiced

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Roll out the puff pastry and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly score a border around the edges (about ½ inch) to create a crust.

  • Brush the edges with melted butter and sprinkle everything bagel seasoning over the entire surface.

  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden and puffed. Let cool slightly.

  • Spread the cream cheese evenly over the baked pastry.

  • Layer the smoked salmon on top, followed by a squeeze of fresh lemon.

  • Slice into squares and serve immediately.

Enjoy!
