4 Ingredient Pita

Soft, fluffy pita made with just a few simple ingredients, easy, gluten-free, and perfect for wraps, dips, or alongside any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (or dairy-free alternative)

  • 1 cup gluten-free flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp salt

Optional

  • 5 Tbsp. Butter

  • Za’tar (Optional)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt, gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt until a dough forms.

  • Transfer to a lightly floured surface and knead gently until smooth.

  • Divide the dough into 3–4 pieces and roll each into a flat round.

  • Heat a pan over medium heat and lightly oil if needed.

  • Cook each pita for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through.

  • Brush with butter and sprinkle with za’atar if using. Serve warm.
